In the middle of the night when I could not fall back to sleep, I poured out my heart to God. I rattled off every thought, every hope, and every question. Like the patient father that He is, God listened to me. He waited patiently for me to finish my complaining. While He did not give me any answers, he did give me sleep, which I totally needed at that moment. I will keep seeking until I find.

Psalm 73:23 Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.

Who of your married friends is writing a book about marriage? Do you want to be like everyone else or do you want to live my plan for your life? These words, these ideas are a gift from me. Cherish them.

Immanuel, God With Us.

Why did Jesus Come? He came to fulfill the prophecies. If God promises something, He will do it. God, you said…when?

Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

I feel that the Christmas Eve sermon was written just for me. It was completely and exactly what I needed to hear.

Fine, it was not written just for me. I am sure other people in the congregation needed to hear parts of it too. However, these words resonated with me in a way that only comes from heaven’s perfect peace.

Jesus came so that He could be God with us and comfort us in that perfect way that is His and His alone. May Christmas and every day draw you closer to Him.
